Inspiration for this comic' comes from HotDiggedyDemon's "Watch out, Ashleigh" : [link]
One of my main reasons why I got so hooked up on MLP: Friendship is Magic is thanks to one of the most famous flash cartoonists, HotDiggedyDemon, for his parody series, PONY.MOV, and his Tumblr account, Ask Jappleack. His stuff is very funny, but be warned, his cartoons are NOT for young kids to see.
Anyway, I think most fans, like myself, are wondering why didn't Derpy make a cameo appearance as the mailpony in the season 3 episode, "Wonderbolts Academy." It would have fit perfectly; though I wonder where the connection between Derpy and mailpony has started.
I'm guessing the rumors about Derpy no longer making any more appearances are starting to become true. I can't understand why the creators would come up with that decision since thousands, maybe even millions, of fans like Derpy. To me, I don't see Derpy as a being offensive to me. I mean, there's been A LOT of cartoon characters who are portrayed as idiots. Examples include: Patrick Star, Stimpy, G.I.R, Fred Fredburger, Meatwad, & Caboose (Red vs. Blue). So what makes Derpy so different from the rest? Because she has crossed-eyes? Well... whatever the case may be, Derpy will still live among the hearts of MLP fans everywhere.

Sigh... okay, so several commenters were pointing this out to me on how Derpy's eyes are not so... well... derpy. So I'm writing this as an Artist's Note so that everyone can learn why her eyes are not as cross-eyed as they would like to believe. Here it goes:
Drawing the derpy eyes is tricky when she squints like that. I've studied several vectors and other reference to get a general idea on how her eyes would look when she squints like that. Originally she wasn't going to have derpy eyes because of that squinted expression, but I've decided to try to adjusted them a bit before submitting this comic. Has anyone else noticed the difference in the light reflecting off of each eye? They're not properly aligned. That is all I could do at this point. Also, I was trying to capture the same expression as Jappleack in the video listed above.
